ATV Accident in Inukjuak

On May 27, at about 9:45 p.m., the KRPF responded to a call regarding an off-road accident near the airport.
When police arrived, first responders were performing CPR on a 16-year-old girl. The individual was pronounced dead at the nursing station. Further to the police investigation, it was determined that the girl had been joyriding on an ATV with a passenger when she accidentally lost control of the vehicle and crashed.
