In Salluit, the NPS held a hockey tournament for students

On March 8th and 9th 2023, the local detachment of the Nunavik Police Service in Salluit organized a hockey tournament for the students of Ikusik High School. Under the leadership of Cst William Smith, this event gathered about 30 students from secondary grades 3 to 5. During the tournament, the organizers distributed to players a total of $5000 worth of hockey equipment. At the end of the event, the winning team won $1000 and the second best team, $600.
