Significant alcohol seizure in Inukjuak

$20,000 of contraband seized in Inukjuak
On May 6, 2022, the Nunavik Police Service executed a search warrant in an Inukjuak residence after receiving information regarding the sale of contraband alcohol in the community.
The search led to the seizure of a significant amount of liquor destined for resale. A total of 75 litres of liquor was seized. Its estimated street value is $20,000.
