Drug Seizure in Kuujjuaq

On 2022-05-24, Carlos Jose JHON-CARPENA was arrested for possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking, drug trafficking, and breach of conditions. Following his arrest, a search was conducted inside the hotel room he had rented and occupied, which resulted in the seizure of cocaine ready for distribution in the community, cash, a cell phone, and a knife. The suspect appeared in court and remained in custody until the next stage of the court process.
